The Yankees best Pro Swing in shootout, 15-9

The bats were busy at Juniper Park on Saturday, and when the dust cleared theYankees had a 15-9 win over Pro Swing in seven innings.

The teams combined for 22 hits, including eight extra base hits.

The Yankees blew out Pro Swing thanks to 12 hits, including six extra base hits. The Yankees scored seven runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Jake Nivasch, an RBI double by Caleb Kerbs, a two-run home run by Griffen Dey, an RBI single by Mark Maguire, and a two-run single by Dylan Lawrence.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with five lead changes.

Lawrence got the win in relief for the Yankees. Lawrence pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed two runs.

The Yankees' Dey, Lawrence, Seth Learned and Nanno Santorelli combined for six hits and eight RBIs.

It didn't take long for the Yankees to respond as they scored two runs of their own in the first. The Yankees scored on an RBI double by Santorelli and an error.

The Yankees survived Pro Swing's surge and put up two runs of their own in the sixth. The Yankees scored on a two-run single by John Baluch.
