Mcquire helps the Yankees down the Mamaroneck Tigers 5-2

Mark Mcquire collected three hits, helping the Yankees to a 5-2 victory over the Mamaroneck Tigers on Thursday at Mamaroneck HS.

He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

 

Alex Digiovanna was in control on the mound. Digiovanna held the Mamaroneck Tigers hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

 

Five relief pitchers didn't loosen their grasp on the win as they finished off the game for the Yankees. Digiovanna faced three batters in relief, while Daniel Hodes managed to record six outs to aid the victory.
