The Yankees come from behind to beat NY Gothams, 8-6

Things looked bleak for the Yankees when they trailed by four runs in the sixth inning, but the Yankees recovered thanks to a key single in the seventh inning from Dylan Lawrence to pull out an 8-6 win in seven innings over Ny Gothams at St joes.

With the Yankees trailing by one, Lawrence came to the plate and singled, plating Danny Maynard and Chris Adams.

The Yankees' Lawrence was perfect at the dish, going 2-2.

 

Ny Gothams couldn't get anything going as long as Seth Learned was pitching. Ny Gothams managed just one hit off of Learned, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

 

The top of the second saw the Yankees take an early lead, 2-0. The Yankeesgot things going when Lawrence singled. Rodriquez singled, scoring John Baluch. The Yankees added more runs when Lawrence scored on an RBI double by Giovanna Dingcong.
