Lawrence leads the Yankees to 3-0 victory thanks to seven strikeouts

An exceptional effort by Dylan Lawrence carried the Yankees to a 3-0 win in seven innings over the Midville Dodgers on Sunday at Juniper.

Lawrence worked out of 20 difficult moments for the Yankees. He pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs on two hits. Lawrence faced his toughest situation in the sixth inning.

 

The Yankees' Nanno Santorelli was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

 

The Yankees stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring one run on an RBI double by Mark Vargas.

The Yankees scored one run in the fourth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the seventh. In the fourth, the Yankees scored on an RBI single by Danny Maynard, bringing home Santorelli.
