The Yankees scored nine runs in the seventh on a three-run home run by Giovanni Dingcong, an RBI double by Mark Vargas, a walk by Seth Learned, an RBI single by Jake Nivasch, a walk by Caleb Kerbs, an RBI single by Dingcong, and a hit by pitch.
Dingcong racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Yankees.
Daniel Hodes got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over six innings. Hodes struck out one, walked one and gave up nine hits.
