The Yankees offense too much forTeam Ontario in 10-1 rout

The Yankees jumped out to an early lead on Team Ontario and captured a 10-1 victory on Saturday at Joplin.

With nine runs in the first three innings, the Yankees left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI double by Nanno Santorelli, an RBI double by Seth Learned, an RBI double by Mark Maguire, and an RBI single by Griffen Dey in the first inning and a two-run single by Mark Vargas, a two-run double by Danny Maynard, and a fielder's choice during the second inning supplied the early offense for theYankees.

 

Vargas racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Yankees.

 

 

Daniel Mole's seven strikeouts were enough to push the Yankees past Team Ontario. Mole allowed one earned run on four hits and six walks over five innings.
