Maguire's propels the Yankees past the Philadelphia Reds, 6-1

The Yankees' four first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 6-1 win over the Philadelphia Reds on Thursday at St Joes.

Daniel Hodes got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out four, walked five and surrendered four hits.

The third inning saw the Philadelphia Reds score their only run on the day on an RBI double by Connor.
