Jake Nivasch went 1-1, sparking the Yankees to a 6-3 victory in seven innings over NY Gothams on Sunday at St Joes.

NYGothams couldn't get anything going as long as Jeffrey Enriquez was pitching. NY Gothams managed just one hit off of Enriquez, who allowed no earned runs, walked five and struck out four during his four innings of work.

The Yankees stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring two runs on a sacrifice fly by Danny Maynard and a hit by pitch.

The Yankees got one-run rallies in the fourth inning and the fifth. In the fourth, theYankees scored on an RBI single by Nivasch, bringing home Griffen Dey.

Three NY Gothams runs crossed the plate in the top half of the fifth, making the score 5-3. An RBI triple by Shashaty, a sacrifice fly by Usher, and a steal of home by Mendez gave Ny Gothams life. Daniel Hodes ended the inning by getting Castro to.
