The Yankees escape theMamaroneck Tigers behind Mole's 14 strikeouts, 5-0

An outstanding effort by Mole spurred the Yankees to a 5-0 win in seven innings over the Mamaroneck Tigers on Thursday at St Joes.

Mole baffled the Mamaroneck Tigers, striking out 14 batters. The Yankees' pitcher gave up just two hits over five shutout innings.

 

Dingcong racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Yankees. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

 

The game was never in doubt after the third, as the Yankees scored two runs on a sacrifice fly by Santorelli and an RBI single by Vargas.

The Yankees added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. The inning looked promising, as Dingcong doubled, scoring Adams and Lawrence to kick things off.
