Learned's single propels the Yankeespast Cyclones, 7-2

Three first-inning runs helped the Yankees to a 7-2 win over Cyclones at Yankee Stadium on Sunday.

Seth Learned racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Yankees. He singled in the first inning.

The Yankees relied on Jonathon Cardona to eat up innings en route to the win.Cardona pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out two.

Cyclones matched its one-run first inning with one more in the seventh. In the first, Cyclones scored on a sacrifice fly by #17, bringing home #21.

The Yankees tacked on another two runs in the fourth. The inning got off to a hot start when Caleb doubled, scoring Danny Maynard. That was followed up by Giovanni Dingcong's single, plating Griffen Dey.

The Yankees scored one run in the fifth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the fifth, the Yankees scored on an RBI single by Dylan Richards, scoring Maynard.
